I have always loved creating photobooks instead of just printing pictures and sticking them in an album! I used to order them online all the way from the US! Now, you could do them from the comfort of your house and get them in Kuwait. This photobook business is called Click-o-Print, I loved it so much, I decided to go ahead with the interview!
Could you please introduce us to the brains behind the Click-o-Print Concept?
My name is Reem Alasfour. I have been working in different positions in the private sector. Now I am running Click O Print.
What are the advantages of printing a photobook rather than just getting regular prints or digital photos?
Photobooks are fun to create and easier to design that you think. Printing standard photos requires that you arrange the prints in an album. A photobook is a one process to print the photos and arrange them in an album in the same time. In addition, we use high-tech equipments to print, so you are assured best quality available. Also, with a photobook or a calendar, you are not restricted to a certain photo size. And to make it more fun, you can add scrapbook items, frames, backgrounds and write on your own unique photobook.
Do the photobooks have one template? or could we customize them?
We offer a range of photobooks and calendars for you to choose from. Each photobook offers a differnt size and cover type. For the inside of the photobook, you can use preset templates or design the pages the way you want.
What are the sizes available for the photobooks?
We offer A3 landscape, A4 portrait, 20x20cm book, A5 landscape and A5 portrait. In addition, there is a small desktop calendar. And after Eid, we will be launching a new A4 landscape book with a unique cover that will appeal to baby books.
What is the process of creating a photobook or calendar?
You simply download the free software from our website:www.clickoprint.com. Once you install the software, a wizard will assist you to build your own product. But the steps are:
1. choose your product, it will be automatically opened for you with the correct setup.
2. click on the (+) sign to add your photos from a folder on your computer.
3. enjoy designing the pages using a simple drag and drop action.
4. Use frames, page styles, backgrounds, scrapbook items and masks to design the book the way you want.
5. once you are done, save your project and click on the shopping cart (order) button. You will be guided through the registration process and VERY IMPORTANT, do not forget to upload the saved project AFTER you register online.
6. We will confirm the order by phone, process it and deliver it right to your door.
